アリオーシュはもともと、ニヴルヘイムに住むごく平凡な主婦だった。しかしあるとき、帝国軍に最愛の夫と息子を惨殺され、そのショックで精神が完全に崩壊してしまう。エルフ族特有の長身と美しい顔立ちの持ち主だが、その目には狂気が宿り、他人と会話をすることすらままならない。また、何かを思い出したかのように絶叫したり、突然笑い出すといった常人からはかけ離れた奇行も目立つ。
◉ Decaying mind at the murder of her family
Arioch was originally an ordinary housewife, living in Niflheim. However, one day her beloved husband and son were slaughtered by the Imperial Army, the shock of which completely shattered her heart. She has the tall stature and beautiful features peculiar to the elf village, but madness dwells in those eyes, so that others do not dare to even speak with her. Still, the way she bursts into sudden laughter in the middle of her screams, as if remembering something, is an act so strange as to stand out from even the most eccentric of normal people.

精神に異常を来したアリオーシュは、恐るべき殺人鬼と化して二ヴルヘイムを震撼させるになる。標的となったのは、年端もいかない子供たちばかりだった。しかも、犠牲となった子供たちには、例外なく身体のー部を食べられた痕跡があった。数々の血塗られた事件を起こした後、アリオーシュは帝国軍に捕らえられ、身柄を拘束された。
◉ Murdering only the weak
Having been overcome by insanity, Arioch's change into a terrible murderer shocked Niflheim. Only very young children became her targets. Moreover, of the children that were killed, they all without exception were found with traces of one of their body parts having been eaten. After these bloody incidents had come up many times, Arioch was captured by the Imperial Army, and taken into custody.

帝国軍の牢獄に収容され、処刑執行の日を待つばかりだったアリオーシュ。しかし、彼女の命運はまだ尽きていなかった。連合軍の奇襲を受けて牢獄が破壊されたところに、彼女の狂気を嗅ぎつけたサラマンダー＆ウンディーネが現れ、契約を持ちかけたのだ。この契約によって、彼女は子宮と引き換えに生き延ぴることになる。ただし、彼女が契約の意味を理解していたかどうかは疑わしいところである。
◉ Contract partners are two superior spirits
Left in the custody of the Imperial Army's prison, Arioch could do nothing but wait for the day of her execution. However, her fate had yet to come to an end. Upon the prison's destruction by a surprise attack from the Allied Army, having taken notice of the woman's insanity, Salamander and Undine appeared before her, and proposed a contract. According to the contract, she would be exchanging her womb in order to prolong her life. However, whether or not she understood the meaning of this contract was questionable at this time.

このところ世を騒がせていた連続殺人事件の犯人が捕まった―――という知らせは、瞬く間に二ヴルヘイム国中に知れ渡った。 しかも、犯人がごく平凡なエルフの主婦だったという事実は、人々に大きな衝撃を与えた。 子供ばかりを狙ったこ事件では、すでに数人の犠牲者が出ており、そのいずれもが無惨な姿で発見されていることから、その犯人像には注目が集まっていたのである。
Recently the serial murderer that has so troubled society was captured--this news spread like wildfire across the kingdom of Niflheim. Moreover, the fact that the perpetrator was a perfectly ordinary elven housewife gave the people a great shock. Considering the fact that she'd aimed only at children, several victims had already come out, and so when the chance came to see this cruel figure, everyone gathered to see her profile.
アリオーシュという名の犯人が、町の留置場から砂漠の牢獄へ移送されるという噂を聞きつけた人々は、前代未聞の猟奇事件を引き起こした犯人の姿を一目見ようと、街道の両脇を埋め尽くした。
Word having spread that the criminal, named Arioch, was being transferred from the town jail to a prison in the desert, crowds of people lined the streets to catch a glimpse of this bizarre figure who had committed such an unprecedented crime.
「オーガみたいな体格の化け物女らしいぜ」。
"I bet she's a monster woman that looks like an ogre."
「いや、俺が聞いた話だと３００歳の老婆らしい」。
"Nah, I heard she looks like a 300-year-old granny."
口々に無責任な噂をする群衆たち。 しかし、帝国軍兵の士に連れられて姿を現した犯人の姿は、彼らの予想とは違っていた。 そこにいたのは、化け物でも魔女のような老婆でもなく、極めて平凡で、そして極めて美しい若い女エルフだったのである。 群衆が密かに期待していた”醜怪で凶悪な女殺人鬼”の婆は、どこにもなかった。 先ほどまであれほど騒がしかった群衆たちは、呆気にとられたように１人また１人と口を閉ざし、場は異様な沈黙に包まれた。 彼らには、数々の罪ない弱者を惨殺した犯人と、目の前にいる女エルフとが、どうしても結びつかなかったのである。
The crowd was filled with such irresponsible rumors. However, when the criminal appeared, led by soldiers of the Imperial Army, her figure completely defied their expectations. What appeared was not a monster nor a decrepit old witch, but an incredibly ordinary, yet beautiful young elven woman. The "hideously atrocious female cutthroat" that the crowd had been expecting was nowhere to be found. The previously raucous crowd went quiet one by one, as if they had all been caught in a still photograph, and the place was wrapped in a bizarre sort of silence. For these people, the criminal who had murdered defenseless innocents time and time again, and the elf woman before their eyes, were two beings they could not manage to connect no matter how hard they tried.
兵士たちの足音だけが響く中、群衆は固唾のんで、目の前を通り過ぎる一行を見送った。 しかし、当のアリオーシュには周囲など見えていなかった。 両脇を屈強な兵士に抱えられ、引きずられるようにして歩きながら、彼女は何度も何度も同じ言葉をつぶやいていた。
There was nothing but the sound of soldiers' footsteps echoing as the crowd sent them off, swallowing their collective breaths. However, Arioch saw nothing of what was going on around her. Held by sturdy soldiers on both sides, walking as if she were being dragged, she muttered the same words over and over again.
「わたしの赤ちゃん...おいしい、赤ちゃん」
"My children...delicious children."
―――厳重に身体を拘束され、牢獄に入れられるときも、アリオーシュは抵抗ひとつせず、その従順ぶりは看守を気味悪がらせるほどだった。 彼女は、自分の身に何が起きているのか理解していなかった。 いったい、ここはどこなのだろう？ わたしのかわいい赤ちゃんはどこに行ってしまったのだろう？ わたしの......わたしの赤ちゃんを返して！
--Even when her body was tightly bound, and she was placed into the prison, Arioch did not resist once, so docile that her jailers were unnerved. The girl did not seem to understand at all what was happening to her. Where is this place? Where did my adorable children go? Give me......give me back my children!
アリオーシュは突然、牢獄全体に響き渡るような声で絶叫した。 間髪入れず、猿ぐつわを手にした看守が牢獄内へ駆け込んでくる。 先ほどの従順さに油断していたのだろう。 看守が彼女の口に猿ぐつわをかけようとしたとき、アリオーシュは目にも止まらぬ速さでその手に噛みついた。 そして次の瞬間―――何の躊躇も見せずに指を食いちぎる。 今度は、看守の絶叫が響き渡る番だった。 彼女は満足そうに微笑むと、口の中の物体をゆっくりと嚥下した。
Suddenly, Arioch let out a scream that seemed to resound throughout the entire prison. A jailer holding a gag rushed into the prison as fast as he could, at the hair-raising noise. He must have been negligent due to her meekness back then. When the jailer moved to place the gag in her mouth, Arioch snapped at him with blinding speed. And the next instant--she'd bitten his fingers off without the slightest hesitation. This time, it was the jailer's scream that echoed throughout the halls. The girl smiled as if satisfied, leisurely swallowing the object in her mouth.
