気がつくと、森の中にいた。辺りを見回す。メグとミリーの姿が見えた。どうやらおれよりも先に、ここに現れたらしい。
Next thing you know, we're in the woods again. I take a look around and catch sight of Meg and Millie's figures. Looks like they got here first somehow.

ナッシュ
「よぉ、何してるんだい？」
Nash
"Hey, what're you doing?"

メグ
「あ！シーーー！！！シーーーー！！！！！」
Meg
"Ah! Sshh!!! Ssshh!!!!!"

ミリー
「しーーーしーーー」
Millie
"Sshh, Sshh~"

ナッシュ
「ん？なんだぁ？」
Nash
"Hm? What?"

ナッシュ
「あ、あいつら・・・・・・・・・・・」
Nash
"T-those guys are..........."

たしか、あの女の子はミューズ市で、料理を・・・・うう・・・思い出しただけで・・・・・
If I'm not mistaken, that's the girl from Muse, the one who cooked....Urgh...just thinking about it.....

ナッシュ
「なんだ、おまえたちも知り合いなのか？それなら、話が早いや。ちょっと、道を聞いて・・・・」
Nash
"What, you guys know her too? Let's hurry up and go talk to them, then. Maybe we can ask for directions...."

メグ
「だめ！待って！！」
Meg
"No! Wait!!"

ナッシュ
「な、なに・・・・・・・」
Nash
"W-what......."

ナナミ
「ねぇ、本当にいいの？本当にピリカちゃんとかに会わなくていいの？ねぇ、ねぇ、ジョウイ？」
Nanami
"Hey, is this really okay? Is it really okay to not meet Pilika? Hey, hey, Jowy?"

ジョウイ
「う、うん・・・・・・・・」
Jowy
"Y-yeah........"

ナナミ
「そんなぁ、やっぱりかわいそうだよぉ、戻って会ってこようよぉ。ねぇ、そう思うでしょう、/n！」
Nanami
"Really, that's really sad, it wouldn't be hard to go back and meet her you know. Hey, you think so too, right Riou!"

「あ・・・そ、そうかな・・・・・・」
Riou
"Ah...I-I guess so......"

ナナミ
「ほらほら、ね！戻ろう！」
Nanami
"Look look, hey! Let's go back!"

ジョウイ
「うん・・・・でも・・・・・・・・ジルとピリカは、ハイランドから亡命した貴族の親族ってことになっているんだ。それだって、いつバレるかわからない。それなのに、ぼくがあそこへ行ったら・・・ジルやピリカの正体がバレてしまう。そうなれば、どんな危険があるか・・・・やっぱり、会うことはできないよ・・・・・・」
Jowy
"Yes....but........Jillia and Pilika, they've become exiles of the Highland nobility now. So, I don't know when their secret might leak out. Because of that, if I go over there...Jillia and Pilika's identities will be revealed. That's why, if there's a chance of putting them in danger....I definitely can't meet with them......"

ナナミ
「あ・・・・・・・・・・・・・そっかぁ・・・・・・・」
Nanami
"Oh............I see......."

ジョウイ
「でも・・・・もう少し時間が経ったら・・・ハイランドのあの戦いの記憶が人々の間から少しうすれたら・・・・」
Jowy
"But....if just a little more time passes...the memory of Highland's struggle might fade from the people's minds...."

ナナミ
「うん・・・・・そうだね！うん、うん、大丈夫、大丈夫だよ。みんな、忘れっぽいもん。ゲンカクじいちゃんが、都市同盟の英雄だったなんて誰も教えてくれなかったもんね、/n！」
Nanami
"Yeah.....that's right! Yeah, yeah, it'll be okay, it'll definitely be okay. Everybody'll forget, for sure. Grandpa Genkaku never let anybody know he was a hero of the City-States, right, Riou!"

「それは、ちょっと違うと思うけど・・・・」
Riou
"That's kind of different, I think...."

ナッシュ
「・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・遠くて、何を言ってるのかよく聞こえないな・・・・・・」
Nash
"...................At this distance, I can't hear a thing they're saying......"

ナッシュ
「どうして行っちゃいけないんだ？」
Nash
"Why can't we go over there?"

ミリー
「だめなのぉーーー」
Millie
"You caan't--"

ナッシュ
「な、なんだよ？いきなり？」
Nash
"W-what? What's with the sudden no's?"

メグ
「だって、シュウさんに言われたんだもん。どこかで/nさんたちに会っても知らないふりをしろって。」
Meg
"Because, that's what Mister Shu said. If we ever run into Mister Riou and his friends we have to pretend we don't know them."

ナッシュ
「/n？シュウ？」
Nash
"Riou? Shu?"

ハイランドを壊滅に追いやった新同盟軍のリーダーが/nと言う名の少年だったと言うのは有名な話だ。それに、シュウと言えば新同盟軍の正軍師・・・・まさかな・・・・・・
The fact that the leader of the new Allied Army that attempted to destroy Highland was a kid named Riou is popular talk these days. On top of that, Shu's the name of the new Allied Army's top strategist.... It can't be......

メグ
「だって、シュウさんに言われたんだもん。どこかでリーダーさんたちに会っても知らないふりをしろって。」
Meg
"Because, that's what Mister Shu said. If we ever run into Mister Leader and his friends we have to pretend we don't know him."

ナッシュ
「リーダー？シュウ？」
Nash
"Leader? Shu?"

ミリー
「そうだもん。ミリーたちも、みんなといっしょにたたかったもん。」
Millie
"That's right. Millie and everybody too, we all fought together."

この二人も一緒に戦ったって・・・役に立ったんだろうか・・・・・
These two fighting together... I wonder if they were helpful.....

ナッシュ
「でも、どうしてそんなことを？」
Nash
"But, what's that rule for?"

メグ
「なんだか良くわからないけど・・・・・あの三人にとっては、今は誰からも知られることなく三人だけで生きていくのが、一番幸せなんだって。みんなが城を出て別れ別れになる前に広間に集めて、シュウさん、真剣に言ってたから多分、本当だと思うよ。」
Meg
"I don't really know but..... As far as those three are concerned, if they can live an uneventful life without anybody knowing them, that's the best kind of happiness. Before everybody at the castle left and got separated, Mister Shu gathered everybody in the hall, and he seemed really serious when he said all this, so I think it's true."

ナッシュ
「そうか・・・・・・・・・」
Nash
"Is that so........."

新同盟軍の勝利の後、そのリーダーの姿が表立って見えなかったのには、裏があると思っていたが何か事情があるのだろう・・・・
After the new Allied Army's victory, that leader's figure disappeared from the public eye, and I'd thought something had probably happened behind the scenes....

ミリー
「あ、いっちゃうーーーうーーー、あいさつぐらいしたいなーーー」
Millie
"Ah, they're leeaaviiing, I wanted to say hii--"

「じゃあさぁ、じゃあさぁ、これからどこへ行こうか？シュウさんは、東から船にのって群島諸国へ行くのがいいって言ってたけど、わたし、トラン共和国にも行ってみたいなぁ。グレッグミンスター以外の街にも行ってみたいよね。」
Nanami
"So then, so then, where are we going from here? Mister Shu said it would be a good idea to take a boat east to the Island Nations but, as for me, I kind of want to see the Toran Republic. And the towns outside of Gregminster, too."

ジョウイ
「そうだな。グラスランドをぬけて、その先のゼクセン連邦から無名諸国をめざすってのもあるよ。あそこなら、ぼくたちを知る人なんて誰もいないだろうからね。」
Jowy
"That's an idea. Or we could head beyond the Zexen Confederation to the Nameless Lands, once we've left the Grasslands. If we go there, we'll probably strangers to absolutely everybody."

ナナミ
「ね、ね、ね、どうしようか？」
Nanami
"Hey, hey, hey, what should we do?"

「そうだな・・・・・・・ぼくは、みんなといられるなら・・・・」
Riou
"Since you ask.......well, as long as I can be with everybody...."

ナナミ
「うん！そうだね！！三人いっしょなら、どこにいたって楽しいよね。うん、本当によかったよ・・・・本当に・・・・」
Nanami
"Yeah! That's right!! As long as the three of us are together, anywhere we go will be fun. Yeah, I'm really happy....really...."

ジョウイ
「ナナミ・・・・・・・・・ほ、ほら、それよりもお腹へらないか？そろそろ次の村が見えるはずだ。そこで何か食べようよ。」
Jowy
"Nanami......... H-hey, are you getting hungry too? We ought to be seeing the next village soon. We can eat something over there."

ナナミ
「う、うん！そうだね！もーーー、なんだか食欲が出て来ちゃったぞ。ゴーゴーー！！！」
Nanami
"Y-yeah, That's right! Uurgh, somehow all this talking's made me really hungry. Go-Go--!!!"

「ナ、ナナミ・・・・・・」
Riou
"N-Nanami......"

ナッシュ
「・・・・・・・・・・・・・本当に・・・・あの連中が、ハイランドのルカ・ブライトを倒したのか・・・？？？？」
Nash
".............Seriously....those guys, they're the ones who defeated Highland's Luca Blight...????"

ビッキー
「あーーーー！！！！ナナミちゃんだーーーー！！！おーーーい！！！」
Viki
"Aah--!!!! It's Nanamiii--!!! Heeey!!!"

メグ
「え？」
Meg
"Eh?"

ミリー
「ああああ、だめぇーーーー！！！！」
Millie
"Aaaah, noooo--!!!!"

メグ
「あっ！ビッキーは、宴会の時に消えちゃったからシュウさんの話きいてないんだ！ナッシュさん！止めて！！」
Meg
"Ahh! Since Viki disappeared during the feast, she didn't get to hear what Mister Shu said! Mister Nash! Stop her!!"

ナッシュ
「ああ、わかった。まかせて・・・・・・・・・・・・・」
Nash
"Right, I got it. Leave it to me............."

*insert the sound of Viki running into something

ナッシュ
「うわぁぁぁぁぁ・・・・全速力で走って来るなぁ・・・・」
Nash
"Wooaaahh.... She hit that thing at full speed...."

ビッキー
「はややーーーー・・・・・・・」
Viki
"Hayayaaa--........"

ナナミ
「ん？ちょっと待って？何か音しなかった？」
Nanami
"Hm? Wait a minute? Did you hear something?"

「さぁ？」
Riou
"Was there something?"

ジョウイ
「ナナミのおなかの音じゃないのかい？」
Jowy
"Isn't that the sound of Nanami's stomach?"

ナナミ
「もーーー、そんなんじゃないよぉーーーー」
Nanami
"Aargh, that's definitely not iiit--"
