The Birth of the 27 True Runes

In the beginning, there was Darkness.
And Darkness lived for a long,
long period of time.

Living like this
for such a long time
made Darkness feel the pain of loneliness,
and finally, Tears fell.

From these Tears, two brothers were born.
They were Sword and Shield.

Sword said, "There is nothing I cannot cut."
Shield replied, "There is nothing that can hurt me."

And so the two began to fight.
The battle lasted 7 days and 7 nights.

Sword cut Shield,
and Shield broke Sword.
Fragments of Sword rained down and became the sky.
Fragments of Shield rained down and became the earth.
The sparks from the battle became stars.

Finally, the 27 gems that adorned Sword and Shield
became the 27 True Runes,
and the world came into motion.
