Suikogaiden 2 Chapter 1 - The Champion

「あれ？なんだ、もう終わっちゃったの？わたしのナイフの技も見せてあげようと思って戻って来たのに。」
Eilie
"Huh? What, it's already over? And here I thought I'd come back to let you guys see my knife technique."

ナッシュ
「そいつは残念だな。」
Nash
"What a shame."



村人を逃がしていたアイリたちや、手下たちの相手をしていたギジムたちが戻って来ていた。
Eilie's group, who'd helped the villagers escape, and Gijimu's gang, who'd taken care of the small fry, had all come back.



コウユウ
「へへ！！こっちは、カタがついたぜ。ロウエンのアネキの傷も浅かったし、これで一件落着っすか？」
Koyu
"Hehe!! So that's the end o' that. Big Sis Lo Wen's injury's shallow too, so does that mean it's case closed?"



ボルガン
「わーーーーい、よかった、よかった。ボルガン、うれしいよ。」
Bolgan
"Yaaaaay, I'm glad, I'm glad. Bolgan's happy."



リィナ
「村人たちも、ケガをした人が少しいるぐらいで、あとは無事ですよ。」
Rina
"There aren't many injured villagers either, they'll be safe from here."

ナッシュ
「そうか・・・それはよかった・・・・・・」
Nash
"I see...that's good......"



コウユウ
「お、こいつが盗賊団の頭ですね。こら、こいつめ！！いってぇ、どんな顔してやがるんだ？」
Koyu
"Oh, so this guy was the head of the robber gang huh. See, this guy!! Come oonnn, what kinda face's he got?"



コウユウはそう言うが早いか、首領の覆面をはぎ取った。
With those quick words, Koyu tore off the leader's mask.



マイクロトフ
「この男は！！！！！！」
Miklotov
"This man is!!!!!!"

ナッシュ
「知っているのか？」
Nash
"You know him?"



カミュー
「・・・・・・・・・・白騎士団長、ゴルドーの右腕だったクラントと言う男です。わたしと並ぶ、火の紋章の使い手でした。」
Camus
"..........This man was the head of the White Knights and Gorudo's right hand, by the name of Clant. Like me, he wielded a fire rune."



コウユウ
「なんてこったい、それじゃあ・・・・・・・」
Koyu
"Holy cow, in that case......."



マイクロトフ
「/f軍がマチルダ騎士団を攻め落とした時、クラントが逃走したと言う話は聞いていた。しかし、グラスランドに逃げて、『炎の運び手』を騙っていたとは・・・・」
Miklotov
"I heard rumors that Clant had deserted when the Dunan army assaulted the Matilda Knightdom. But, to escape to the Grasslands, and trick people with the Fire Bringers...."

道理で、カミューとマイクロトフを知っている風だったわけだ。それに元マチルダ騎士団なら、あの剣技も納得がいく。カミューとマイクロトフは、悲痛な顔でクラントを見つめていた。
Of course, Camus and Miklotov should have known he knew them. On top of that if he's originally a Matilda Knight, they should've caught that sword style of his. The two of them gazed down at Clant with bitter looks on their faces.



カミュー
「/f軍が、王国軍を倒しこの地に平和を築いた・・・・・・その物語の裏では、/f軍のハンパ者による略奪、そして、敗北した騎士団の残党・・・・」
Camus
"The Dunan Army overthrew the Imperial Army and brought peace to this land......but on the other side of this story, this pillaging by the remnants of the Dunan Army, thus were the remains of the Knightdom defeated...."

ナッシュ
「まぁな。それが戦いだ。どんな理由があれ、戦いがおこればそこで死ぬ人間がいて、そこで泣く人間がいる。」
Nash
"Ah well. That's war for you. Whatever the reason is, where war occurs there are people who will die, and people who will cry for it."

マイクロトフ
「・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・」
Miklotov
"..............."
