Yaichi: Thank you, for putting her to bed for me.

【嵯峨野】　別に、何もしてねえよ。　ガキだからあっと言う間に寝ちまっただけだ。　お前こそ、まだ起きてんのか
Sagano: I didn't really do anything. She's a kid, so she just fell asleep on her own. You're up pretty late yourself, you know.

【夜市】　うん、ちょっと調べ物をしていてね。………次に書く本の資料を読んでいたんだ。　この土地に纏わる話を次は書こうと思ってるから
Yaichi: Yeah, there was something I wanted to check up on....I was looking over the materials for my next book. My next story's going to be about this land, you see.

【嵯峨野】　………フーン………　そうかよ
Sagano: ...Huh...really now.



【夜市】　灯奈ちゃんてさ。………僕の娘じゃないんだよね
Yaichi: About Hina-chan...She's not my daughter.

【嵯峨野】　………ン？
Sagano: ...Mm?

【夜市】　いきなりこんな話して驚くと思うけど。　あの子は、ある日この家の前に置き去りにされていてね。　身元も分からなくて、それでうちで育ててるんだ
Yaichi: You're probably surprised I'd suddenly bring this up, but. That girl was abandoned in front of this house one day. I took her in, not having any idea who she was.

【嵯峨野】　………へえ………
Sagano: ...Huh...

【夜市】　でも、縁があってうちに来てくれたんだと思うから。………うちの子どもだという思いを込めて、「灯奈」って名前を僕は付けた
Yaichi: But, I think it was fate that she came to us. ...I started to think of her as one of my own; I'm actually the one who named her "Hina".

【夜市】　灯奈という名前は、昔ここに住んでいた………　僕にとってはご先祖様にあたる女性の名前でね
Yaichi: There was a Hina living here, long ago...She was one of my ancestors.

Sagano: ...Stop...



【夜市】　そして、その夫君にあたる、もう一人のここに住んでいた人物。………椿家の最初の当主。　その方の名前が、「椿朱史」というんだ。………朱史くん
Yaichi: There was another who lived here too, her husband. ...The first head of the Tsubaki family. That man's name was "Tsubaki Akashi". ...Akashi-kun.

Yaichi: .......You came back, didn't you?



【夜市】　だったら、ここはあなたの家でもある。……………………………………なんてね。　職業柄か、そういうものを信じたいタイプなんだ、僕は。　気を悪くしたなら、すまない
Yaichi: That's why this is your home as well as ours. ..............Just kidding. With my line of work, I'm the type who likes to believe in that sort of thing. Sorry if I offended you.

Yaichi: ...Well, I should probably be heading to bed myself. I've got to be up early for work tomorrow, after all. I'll be going first, then....Akashi-kun.

Sagano: ......."Lived in this house"...

【嵯峨野】　………灯奈と一緒に住んでた、アイツ。…………………
Sagano: ...He lived together with Hina.......

【嵯峨野】　帰ってきたのは、………それは俺じゃ、ねえんだよ………
