「あー、ジャグジー・スプロットさんってのは……?」
"Aah, is there a Mister Jacuzzi Splot...?"
頭部に黒い布を巻いた眼鏡の男が、玄関に入ってくるなり不躾な口を開いた。
A bespectacled man, with his head wrapped in black cloth, impolitely opened his mouth as he entered the foyer.
「え、あ、あの……僕……ですけど」
"Ah, u-um...that's me, but..."
ジャグジーはおどおどしながら名乗りをあげ、訪問客達の顔を見渡した。
Jacuzzi nervously introduced himself as he looked over the visitors' faces.
人数は十人程度だろうか。通常の家ならば窮屈になるところだろうが、豪邸のエントランスはまだまだ余裕の状態だ。最初に現れた黒布の男を見たときは、今度こそマフィアの殺し屋でも来たのかと思ったが、男の背後にいる気の弱そうな女を見て少しだけ安心した。
The number of people was probably around ten. If it had been a normal house the place would probably have become quite cramped, but the stately mansion's entrance still had quite a lot of room left. When first looking at the black cloth man's appearance, you'd definitely think he was some sort of Mafia hitman, but the timid air of the woman behind him helped put you a little at ease.
後から入ってきた人間はそれぞれが思い思いの格好をしており、どちらかというと自分達の集団に似た雰囲気だとジャグジーは判断する。
Those people who came in behind each appeared as they liked, giving off an atmosphere similar to his own group, in Jacuzzi's judgment.
「あ、あの……一体何の御用でしょう……」
"U-um...what the heck do you want, I guess..."
それでも完全には警戒を解かず、ジャグジーは不安そうな目をして相手の目的を尋ねかけた。
Despite having finished his cautious answer, Jacuzzi went on to question the other party's intentions with a nervous look in his eye.
アイザック達は客間で『フィーロの大切なものは何か』という議題で話し合っており、玄関付近にいるのはジャグジーとニース、それに野次馬気分で集まっている数人の仲間のみだ。
While Isaac and Miria were in the parlor discussing "What's Firo's most important thing", in the vicinity of the foyer were Jacuzzi and Nice, their gathering friends giving off the the impression of curious onlookers.
「おっと、挨拶が遅れて失礼。俺はティム。後ろにいる連中は俺の友達みたいなもんだから、まあ気にしないでくれや」
"Oops, excuse my late introduction. I'm Tim. These guys behind me are sort of my friends for some reason, but well, don't worry about that."
「は、はあ」
"O-oh."
必要最低限の情報だけを伝えると、ティムは淡々と自分の目的を口にした。
Having conveyed the absolute minimum of necessary information, Tim lightly stated his intentions.
「単刀直入に言おうか。――あんたらは、不,死,身,に,な,り,た,く,は,な,い,か?」
"Let's get right to the point shall we. --You guys, would you like to become immortal?"
